We've improved how our app sends invitations

We’ve all been there – your inbox fills up with notifications, many of them repetitive, and it’s hard to know which ones actually matter. We wanted to fix that. Over the past week, we updated how SimpleCrew sends email notifications to make them simpler, smarter, and less redundant. Now, every email you or your team receive is clearer and more useful, with the right information included from the start.

The Three Types of Email Notifications

SimpleCrew sends out three main kinds of notifications:

  1. company invitations
  2. campaign invitations
  3. multiple campaign invitations

The first two types of emails were reworked, and the third one was introduced to reduce clutter and give agents exactly what they need in a single message.

Company Invitations

When an account owner invites a new agent, the email adapts depending on whether that person is already registered.

For unregistered agents, it includes a registration link, a short intro to SimpleCrew, a “Getting Started” video, and customer support contact.

For existing agents, the email is shorter and more direct, with quick start instructions, a password reset link, and support info.

Campaign invitations

In the past, if an owner or admin assigned an agent to a campaign before inviting them to the account, the agent ended up with two separate emails – a company invitation and a campaign invitation. This redundancy often caused confusion, with agents struggling to register quickly.

Now, unregistered agents receive a single email that includes a signup link, the campaign name, and any instructions from the owner.

Registered agents also get a single, streamlined email that highlights the campaign details and instructions without the extra clutter.

Multiple campaign invitations

Previously, assigning an agent to many campaigns triggered a separate email for each one. In some cases, this meant dozens of messages arriving all at once. We’ve fixed that by consolidating everything into one email that lists all assigned campaigns together.

With these changes, your team can focus on the work at hand instead of sorting through redundant notifications. Invitations are now cleaner, instructions are built right into the emails, and onboarding for new agents is much smoother.
