SimpleCrew’s Sales Strategies for Startups

Here are the slides from the presentation I gave to the Start-Up Chile community yesterday.

Ain't Nobody Got Time For That

In this presentation, I shared the philosophy, tools, and strategies I learned selling ads for Yelp, and how we’ve adapted them for selling Simplecrew to SMBs.

Great stuff! Can you give an example of a “buying question”?

    • Thanks Thomas 🙂 Sure thing.

Buying questions are basically indicators of interest that reveal to you that someone’s engaged and, well, interested 🙂

      For SimpleCrew:
      – “Does this work for iPhone and Android?”
      – “When did you guys launch this?”
      – “Where are you guys located?”

^^ All those provide varying degrees of indication that someone is engaged and excited about the product.

      For Yelp:
      – “Do we shoot the video ourselves?”
      – “How many photos can we have on the profile?”
      – “How many people will see these ads?”

Hope that answers your question Tom 🙂
